Concept art and photography brings me back to dA

So... I realise I have been away for a while. A year for sure, and I wasn't a lot here before that either. I simply haven't been drawing a lot the last couple of years. Some photography, some books or other crafts, but no drawing or painting.
Resently though, I started feeling like maybe I should come back. dA is pretty nice after all and the last six months or so I've gotten more seriously into photography. I've liked it for years but not untill this summer did I start learning more about shooting in manual mode and to edit them better afterwards. I love it and I thought, why aren't I showing these photos on dA when I like them so much?
And this monday I started a course in Concept Art. It's the first serious art class I've ever taken and I chose it because I was hoping to learn new things and finaly getting back to drawing more, like I used to do. The first day someone asked for links to people's dA-acounts and after thinking I shouldn't tell them mine (because everything here is so old now and pretty bad) I decided to do so anyway and to see this as an oportunity to get back into both drawing and dA.
So here I am! I went through my gallery and put a loooot of things in a new map with "Old stuff". I've removed very few pictures but put the once I feel are bad in this new map to give myself a fresh start. I like to be able to see how people have gotten better over the years so I didn't want to remove pictures showing how I (hopefull) have gotten better, but I didn't want to have my old ugly pictures be the first thing you saw here either. So this felt like a good idea.
I've already uploaded a couple of new photos and I hope to continue doing so and that new artwork will be joining the photos soon too. Hopefully the new course will give me some inspiration and knowledge. Perhaps there will even be pictures I draw in class which I will put up here. We'll see I guess.
Looking forward to seeing new amazing art here and hopefully share some of my own.
